Without you, the ADRL would not be what it has become and we hope you are able to enjoy a relaxing day with family and friends on this holiday.
The hard work everyone puts in makes the ADRL experience that much more enjoyable, and we work endlessly to make sure every hard-working drag racing fan leaves an ADRL race with an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.
Remember, Simpson Dragstock VII is right around the corner, too, and we want everyone that can to treat themselves by attending this amazing race. XPS’ Morton Has New Sponsor For Rockingham

Your agent recently found out that Morton Brothers Motorsports, which is the team behind Elijah Morton’s Extreme Pro Stock car, will have a new sponsor for ADRL Simpson Dragstock VII at Rockingham Dragway on Sept. 10-11.
“Morton Brothers Motorsports is proud to have Chevron as a sponsor for the upcoming Rockingham race. We are looking forward to competing at Rockingham as it is our home track and we have been quite successful there in the past,” Morton Brothers Motorsports told your agent.
“We feel like our car and driver have been performing very well and we are excited about the chance to put on a good show and take home another win in front of our local fans.”
That’s a big move for the Morton team as they head into the home stretch of the season. Morton is currently sixth in the XPS standings, but your agent knows a win at his home track would give Elijah and the Morton Brothers Motorsports team an incredible memory and some incredible momentum.

ADRL Sends Condolences to Manzo Family
The ADRL would like to send its well wishes and condolences to the Manzo family after Frank Manzo’s father passed away earlier this week.
He was a great and wonderful man, and the ADRL is sorry to hear of Manzo’s loss.
Manzo (pictured on the left with KH Al-Thani) is rightfully considered one of the top drivers in drag racing history and Frank is currently the crew chief for Pro Extreme standout KH Al-Thani.
Manzo’s drag racing accomplishments are numerous, and his father and family has been a major reason why Manzo has been so successful throughout his career.
On behalf of the entire ADRL family, we extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to Frank and the entire Manzo family.

Hill Debuting New Camaro in Rockingham

Your agent is excited to see some new cars will be making the trek to Rockingham for ADRL Simpson Dragstock VII.
The latest confirmation he got came from a brand new Camaro owned by Mike Hill and Jose Gonzalez, a native of the Dominican Republic.
Jerry Bickel Race Cars built the sharp new ride and your agent found out that Hill is excited to debut the new Camaro at Rockingham in the Pro Nitrous class.
A Gene Fulton 867 cubic-inch motor powers the Camaro and it will jump right into a loaded Pro Nitrous field.
Your agent is excited to see how Hill does in such a talented field at a track like Rockingham, which produced the first all 3-second field in PN last year.
This will be Hill’s debut in Pro Nitrous and he will be making a splash with an impressive looking car.

Matt Smith Returning to PXM?
Your agent had some interesting photos delivered to his e-mail on Thursday and he couldn’t wait to share them with all of the ADRL fans.
These “spy photos” seem to indicate to your agent that former Pro Stock Motorcycle world champ Matt Smith is making a return to the ADRL’s ultra-competitive Pro Extreme Motorcycle field.
Could that return be coming for Smith at ADRL Simpson Dragstock VII at Rockingham Dragway on Sept. 10-11? Your agent couldn’t confirm that, but he will be sure to let everyone know if he gets confirmation that Smith will be at Dragstock.
If you remember, Smith made his ADRL debut in 2009 when he raced at the ADRL Hardee’s Georgia Drags V. Smith didn’t qualify for eliminations, but your agent knows he clearly has the talent to make some noise in the ADRL’s excellent PXM field.
It looks as though Smith will have an awesome ride, too, thanks to George Bryce’s Star Racing team.
Your agent is one of many who will be excited should Smith make a return to PXM in the near future.
