Titan Motorsports Takes On St. Louis
It was another exciting weekend of Extreme 10.5 racing for Titan Motorsports Aug. 7-8, when we raced in the National Guard ADRL Hardees’s Gateway Drags II at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois. What a race it was!
In the first round of qualifying, driver Gary White (right) and the Titan Scion kicked it off with a bang, putting down a strong 4.063 at 176.28 mph, before suffering massive engine failure at the finish line. Even though this run was good enough to grab the number-one qualifying position. Friday night’s indent was just the beginning of Team Titan’s adversity-filled weekend.
