MagnaFuel Sees Impressive Growth With Increased Involvement With ADRL In 2012

By elevating its sponsorship with the American Drag Racing League (ADRL), MagnaFuel hoped the racers in the ADRL would notice the increased involvement in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league.

The racers have responded in impressive fashion and MagnaFuel is enjoying not only a successful year, but also a busy year on the 2012 ADRL Tour.

MagnaFuel has been associated with the ADRL since it formed, and added to that relationship in 2012, becoming the Official Fuel Pump of the ADRL for the 2012 season, while continuing its contingency sponsorship.

“We’ve gotten a lot of great feedback from racers and our involvement with the ADRL was one of those things we wanted to step up to the next level,” MagnaFuel President Robbie Ward said. “We’ve have real good successes from it and we’ve been fortunate to have been able to get more involved with the ADRL.”

Based out of Colorado Springs, Colo., MagnaFuel has designed and manufactured long-lasting, durable and premium high-performances fuel systems for many of the top names in drag racing, including drivers in a number of ADRL classes.

Its Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) ProStar pumps have grown in popularity in 2012, and have been used by talented Extreme Pro Stock driver Todd Hoerner, who is using an EFI and EFI pumps from MagnaFuel in his 2012 Camaro.

In addition to its Carbureted ProStar 500 pumps, which have been popular for a number of years, and its standout and expanding belt drive line, MagnaFuel is also an industry leader when it comes to fuel filters.

“We have a full line of different fuel filters and the hardware that goes with it. We try to cover the whole gamut there. In a lot of cars, space is very important and you don’t have a lot of extra space, so we’ve worked hard in that area,” Ward said.

Its extensive line and impressive work ethic has led to a dedicated customer base, as well as a growing company that has been busier than ever in 2012.

The customer list when it comes to ADRL racers is impressive and included talented drivers like XPS world champions Cary Goforth and John Montecalvo, as well as XPS standouts Dean Goforth, Brian Gahm and Doug Kirk, Pro Nitrous drivers Jim Halsey, Chris Patrick and Tommy Franklin, Pro Modified driver Jeff Naiser and many more.

Its involvement with drivers in the new Summit Racing Equipment Top Sportsman class has also been noteworthy.

“Things have been very busy. We’ve gotten more involved in the contingency side and the racers have really supported us. They’ve seen our support and they’re supporting us and that’s been a very big thing for us,” Ward said.

“In addition to Pro Stock and Pro Nitrous, we’ve seen a lot of business coming from the Top Sportsman class. It’s been a real good area for us.”

MagnaFuel will also have a strong presence at the upcoming ADRL World Finals VIII presented by CarSafe on Oct. 19-20 at the Texas Motorplex in Dallas. It is the last of 10 races on the 2012 ADRL Tour.

“It’s just great to see the guys who are running our products doing well. That definitely makes you feel good,” Ward said.
