From interacting with fans and customers to incredible success on the track, it’s been a banner year for CarSafe, which is now in its third year as the Official Extended Vehicle Service Provider of the American Drag Racing League (ADRL).

In addition to a standout season from its CarSafe Motorsports team and star driver Richie Stevens Jr. in Extreme Pro Stock, the company has served as the title sponsor for one ADRL event, is the presenting sponsor for two other events and continues to bolster a strong relationship with the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league.

“The neat part is when we get into these big territories and markets, the ADRL offers such incredible accessibility that we have a great chance to interact with customers,” CarSafe President Mark Eckman said.

“It’s been a great experience for us and there’s nothing more important to us than building relationships with customers. People want to buy from companies they trust and we’re excited to be that company.”

CarSafe is an agency that provides extended vehicle service agreements, which helps protect customers from unexpected repair bills.

CarSafe’s multiple benefits include roadside assistance, towing and rental cars, and much more, and the growing company has quickly become one of the leaders in extended vehicle service agreements.

In addition to the season-opening CarSafe Dragpalooza event in Houston, CarSafe was the presenting sponsor for the highly-successful Gateway Drags in June in St. Louis, and will also serve as the presenting sponsor for the season-ending and highly-anticipated World Finals VIII, which take place Oct. 19-20 at Texas Motorplex in Dallas.

“Texas is one of our biggest states as far as sales and for that event we really try to reach out to all those fans and customers. We welcome them to that event, let them be a part of it

and I think that’s special for them to have that relationship,” Eckman said.

“When they get to rub elbows with Richie or interact with us, I think it just helps them put a better feel on things.”

CarSafe’s interaction with the ADRL’s fanbase has never been better, either.

It introduced the CarSafe Elite Hero Challenge (www.carsafeeliteheroes.com), allowing fans to vote for their favorite ADRL drivers and instantly be entered to win a number of incredible prizes, including a 51” television, an iPad and an all-expenses paid trip to Aruba. That contest is ongoing through the end of the 2012 season.

Of course, the CarSafe Motorsports team continues to be a fan favorite thanks to the standout season from Richie Stevens Jr.

After winning the Battle For The Belts in 2011, Stevens and the CarSafe team have added even more accomplishments to their resume in 2012. Stevens won his first ADRL national event in June – becoming the first Pro Stock driver in drag racing history to win an event in the ADRL, NHRA and IHRA – and has also advanced two to more finals.

He is currently second in points and is right in the middle of the championship chase with three events remaining on the 2012 ADRL slate.

“This has really been a dream come true. It’s hard to put this season into words,” Eckman said. “To come out this year and be very competitive has been super exciting for us. We’re

running against some of the most competitive and talented drivers in the ADRL and to be contending for a championship is just amazing.”

Eckman also has been impressed with Stevens, describing him as the perfect fit for the CarSafe team, which has been an ideal branding tool for the CarSafe business and given Eckman plenty of ideas for the 2013 ADRL season as well.

“The amount of respect fans have for Richie is just incredible. It’s amazing what he’s achieved in his career, and he’s just a well-respected and genuine guy,” Eckman said. “He’s just awesome to be around.

“We can’t wait to see how these final three events unfold and we’re already looking forward to next year.”
