After outstanding reviews and participation, the American Drag Racing League’s (ADRL) will again feature an incredible opportunity for local car clubs and hot rod owners.
Entitled “Pro Mods and Hot Rods,†the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league announced on Friday that will allow hot rod owners free admission for the car and the driver for the upcoming Memphis Drags III, which takes place Sept. 7-8 at Memphis International Raceway.
Drivers must register their car by Sept. 5 to be eligible for the free car and driver entry to the ADRL’s return to Memphis.
“This is something that is perfect for the ADRL and we were blown away with the results after we introduced for the first time earlier this month at Dragstock IX at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte,†ADRL Account Executive Keith Goolsby said.
“The interest has already been outstanding for Memphis and our sponsors are also very excited about it. We can’t wait to see how many total hot rods we will get for what will be an incredible two days at Memphis International Raceway.â€
The event has already drawn significant interest from a number of area car clubs in the Memphis area, as well as ADRL sponsors.
