One of the most successful riders in recent Pro Extreme Motorcycle history is set for his 2012 ADRL debut.
From what your agent is hearing, Terry Schweigert, the Canadian dairy farmer, will be racing for the first time this season at the upcoming U.S. Drags V, which takes place June 22-23 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Petersburg, Va.
That’s great news and it will only add even more depth to a PXM field that has been incredible at all four events thus far in 2012.
Schweigert certainly has an impressive resume, advancing to four finals in 2010. Schweigert then picked up his first ADRL win last June, ending the year second in points. Schweigert also made it into the 4.00s late during the 2011 season, so he will again be a viable challenger at the upcoming U.S. Drags.
Of course, a year ago, the field in Virginia was amazing, with 14 riders qualifying in the 4.10s. From your agent’s perspective, it will be great to see Schweigert back at an ADRL event. Always a class act, Schweigert is as talented and humble as they come, and serves as a wonderful representation of the ADRL’s outstanding PXM class.
Your agent also wants to relay that there is some more HUGE Pro Extreme Motorcycle news coming Monday. Some very cool stuff, indeed, and it revolves the return of an awesome bike for the ADRL’s U.S. Drags V.
