Incremental Time Sheets Now To Be Offered To Racers At Events

The American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce that incremental time sheet reports will now be available during each event, starting with this weekend’s U.S. Drags V at Virginia Motorsports Park.

This incredible service is being provided by Tony Jones, one of ADRL’s newest Performance Partners, which is a list that has grown a considerable amount in 2012.

Jones has a lengthy background in drag racing as an engine technician, carburetor builder, and tuner of naturally aspirated cars.

“We are happy to have Tony come on board to provide this service. Many of our racers have been asking for this and it is a valuable tool to help competitors improve the performance of their vehicles,” ADRL Director of Technical Services Chris Bell said.

An incremental time sheet report shows the incremental times of all competitors in each class, sorted from fastest to slowest. It has all split times figured, reaction times of each driver in the respective class and much more information.

Operating under licenses from Bob Toy and Bob Brockmeyer of Compulink, Jones said, “I am happy to be associated with the ADRL organization. A number of people have worked diligently behind the scenes to make this possible. I am already acquainted with a large number of ADRL racers and look forward to the privilege of serving them for a long time to come.”

The recently completed Gateway Drags IV presented by CarSafe was the first time this service was offered to ADRL competitors and the feedback was very positive, including comments like, “This is more than we expected. Great information. This is just what we’ve been looking for.”

Incremental time sheet reports are available for all ADRL categories except Pro Junior Dragster. Summit Racing Equipment Top Sportsman has just been added due to strong customer demand in St. Louis.
