The American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce that the Comfort Suites South in Grand Rapids, Mich. has been named the official race hotel for the upcoming ADRL Summer Drags VIII at the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Mich.
The ADRL Summer Drags VIII takes place on July 13-14 at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park and is the sixth race on the 2012 ADRL Tour. As part of the highly-anticipated event, the ADRL series includes the following professional, eighth-mile drag racing classes: Summit Racing Equipment Top Sportsman (TS), Aeromotive Fuel Systems Pro Modified (PM), Extreme Pro Stock (XPS), Pro Extreme Motorcycle (PXM), Mickey Thompson Extreme 10.5 (XTF), Pro Nitrous (PN) and Pro Extreme (PX), the quickest and fastest full-bodied, doorslammer class in the world.
The new SuperCar Showdown (SCS) and Pro Junior Dragster (PJD) also race at the event.
Comfort Suites South Grand Rapids will be partnering with the ADRL for the event, and the partnership will allow fans and race teams the opportunity to stay at the suite hotel that is located just 15 miles north of the U.S. 131 Motorsports Park.
The Comfort Suites South is also conveniently located just 10 miles south of downtown Grand Rapids on Highway 131. This Grand Rapids hotel is close to area attractions like the
