Healthy and Loving Life, Rahaim Sitting Atop Pro Nitrous Points Race

Your agent is thrilled to see Pro Nitrous driver Bob Rahaim having the success he is in 2012.

The Pro Nitrous standout is currently the points leader in a loaded class after advancing to a pair of finals as well as a semifinal berth at the recent Northeast Drags at Maple Grove Raceway.

In a great feature on Competition Plus, Rahaim touched on a number of topics, including the hip surgery he had last fall. The pain was considerable by the end of the year, but Rahaim feels as good as ever these days.

From the article:

“I tell everybody this is all a lifelong dream for me and to be headed in this direction is a big lift of adrenaline and excitement,” Rahaim said. “It just makes you want to learn more and be more driven to succeed.

“It’s definitely a lifelong dream to be out here doing what we’re doing, and it really does give you the drive to push on through those tough times. But it’s also just a testament to the people around me. What everyone brings to the table contributes to the success.”

Rahaim is searching for his first ADRL win and it may come at next week’s Gateway Drags IV presented by CarSafe in St. Louis.

“It would be a great personal accomplishment to get that first win, but if we keep going rounds, I’ll be happy,” Rahaim said. “At this level, everybody expects to go out there and win. We would love to do what Mike (Castellana) and those guys did last year when they won four races and a championship.

“But whatever it takes to be in the mix, we’ll be there.”
