Your agent continues to be impressed with the coverage the new ADRL SuperCar Showdown receives nearly every day.
Here’s the latest selection and some very cool stories and interviews.
Bret Kepner and ADRL President Tim McAmis were recently on Hot Rod Magazine Live to discuss the ADRL SuperCar Showdown and the lengthy segment was well worth your listen.
Here’s what host Dennis Pittsenbarger had to say about the ADRL’s revolutionary new class:
“After having Tim and Bret on Hot Rod Magazine Live, I can rest easy that the ADRL and their SuperCar Showdown will bring back a excitement to drag racing that has been choked by the constraints of rules that have stifled creativity in motorsports…and I’m a fan of all of it.”
The word your agent is hearing that the publication will also be in attendance at Royal Purple Raceway for CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII on March 30-31 to take in the debut of the new SuperCar Showdown.
Lastly, Kepner was featured in a great Q&A on Bangshift.com, talking all things SuperCar Showdown.
Here’s one answer that stuck out to your agent:
This is going to be a prime time class, under the lights, qualified eight car field, run right there in front of a packed house each event. On top of that, people are going to actually watch cars they can buy race down the track. We put in a lot of work to make sure that our rules did not exclude any particular cars or prevent anything that should be able to compete off the track. The guys who are in charge of the performance/racing side of the OEM companies are all excited about this and it was great to have that type of reaction.
