Karl Chevrolet Named Official Car and Truck Dealer Of The ADRL

Karl Chevrolet, one of the premier Chevrolet dealerships in the United States, is proud to announce its sponsorship and support of the American Drag Racing League (ADRL).

The world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league released the news on Tuesday that Karl Chevrolet, located in Ankeny, Iowa, will serve as the Official Car and Truck Dealer of the ADRL for the 2012 season.

The new partnership for the 2012 ADRL Tour continues a strong relationship between Karl Chevrolet Owner Carl Moyer and ADRL President Tim McAmis, who have a long history dating back to their drag racing days.

“As a racer myself, I’m very excited to be involved with the ADRL drivers and fans,”  Moyer said.  “Drag racing has always been a passion of mine, and it’s great to be involved with such a great series.”

Serving as the Official Car and Truck Dealer of the ADRL, Karl Chevrolet will have a strong presence at each event on the 2012 ADRL Tour, which begins March 30-31 with CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston.
The dealership also looks forward to working with the ADRL drivers and teams, offering an unmatched selection of vehicles. With more than 2,000 new and pre-owned vehicles to choose from, Karl Chevrolet has long attracted customers well outside of Iowa.

“One of the strengths of Karl Chevrolet is our continued commitment to outstanding customer service,” Karl Chevrolet Marketing Director Scott Johnson said. “We work with loyal customers from all areas of the United States.  Sometimes they make the long drive to come see us, and other times we deliver the vehicle to them. Regardless of where you may be located, we want to be your dealer for life, and we look forward to having that relationship with the ADRL teams.”

Based out of Ankeny, Iowa, Karl Chevrolet has been a premier dealership for more than 30 years. Moyer’s revolutionary approach to business has placed Karl Chevrolet as a top-5 GM new car dealer, and the number one Chevrolet Certified dealer in the United States for six straight years.

Karl Chevrolet will have a display trailer at each race on the 2012 ADRL Tour, which will include GM performance products and a Karl Kustom Corvette. These state-of-the-art vehicles combine the look of the famous mid-year Corvette, with the safety, performance and technology of the C6 platform.

“The Karl Kustom Corvette definitely catches your attention,” Johnson said. “We’re definitely looking forward to being part of the midway, interacting with ADRL fans from all parts of the Country, and sharing the story of Karl Chevrolet.”

The ADRL will be utilizing a Chevrolet 1-ton crew cab dually that will serve as the ADRL Safety Truck for the 2012 Tour, which includes stops at 10 of nation’s most prestigious tracks.

“With Karl Chevrolet, Moyer has put together an amazing dealership and we are extremely excited to have them as the Official Car and Truck Dealer of the ADRL,” McAmis said.
“By working with Karl Chevrolet, it presents an ideal opportunity for our drivers and teams to purchase a new vehicle from a standout company, as well as adding a great deal of excitement to our manufacturer’s midway at each event.”
