Your agent was happy to see this picture as it means Tommy D’Aprile and Mel Bush Motorsports is one step closer to an ADRL race.
The picture, of course, shows D’Aprile new Pro Extreme Corvette, which is nearly ready for its ADRL debut.
Unfortunately, that debut won’t be at the Penske Truck Leasing Inaugural Northeast Drags next weekend at Maple Grove Raceway, but your agent hopes it may be a month later for the Independence Drags V in Topeka (June 17-18).
From what your agent understands, Bush, D’Aprile and the team are still cleaning the trailer from the fire that took place last October before the World Finals and ruined D’Aprile’s old car and torched the trailer.
Here’s what D’Aprile had to say via Facebook:
“(We’re) looking at Topeka. Mel wants to take his time and have everything ready. The trailer is the hold up right now … Car will be on the ADRL Tour very soon.”
Your agent can’t wait to see the car and the class act D’Aprile back in action.
